Breen Urges United To Review Decision To Pull Shannon Flights

Clare’s Junior Jobs Minister is urging United Airlines to review their decision to pull transatlantic flights from Shannon this winter.

It follows an announcement by the airline that its Shannon to Newark service will be suspended from November until February due to a decrease in demand.

Until the recent addition of Norwegian Air services, United operated the only year-round transatlantic flights from Shannon.
