Clare’s Junior Jobs Minister says he’s encouraged to see the significant rise in the number of local jobs added to the economy by Local Enterprise Office-backed investments.

Figures unveiled at the Annual Local Enterprise Office and Local Authority Forum show that nationally, there have been 3,700 jobs created in the past 12 months by LEO-supported companies.

This is a 10 percent rise on the previous year and forms part of an overall 15,000 vacancies added to the jobs market since 2014 by the 31 Local Enterprise Offices around Ireland.
