Two of Clare’s four Dáil deputies are among many TD who have signed in at Leinster House in order to claim expenses but have failed to take part in all votes.

A report in today’s Irish Independent reveals that Fine Gael’s Pat Breen missed 8 votes in the chamber despite being clocked into the building at the time while Fianna Fail’s Timmy Dooley  missed 6 Dáil.

All deputies must sign in at Leinster house if they are to receive expences worth up to 38 thousand a year.

Clare’s other two TDs Fine Gael’s Joe Carey and Labour’s Michael McNamara both have a one hundred percent record of attending all votes in the Dáil chamber to date
