Clare’s Junior Jobs Minister has acknowledged that companies here will face challenges this year amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
While both of the State’s main business agencies, Enterprise Ireland and the IDA, have reported strong employment figures for Clare in 2018, Minister Pat Breen admits concerns remain heading into this year.

Enterprise Ireland stated yesterday that the number of people employed by its client companies here grew by 7% last year to over 4,000, but they too are warning of challenges to the year ahead.
However, Minister Breen also insists that preparations have been made to help companies cope with Brexit.
