A young boy remains in hospital in Dublin following a serious road accident in Cork.

The incident happened at around 6.30 yesterday evening outside Clonakilty when a car hit the three year old.
The child was seriously injured and was transferred to Crumlin Children’s hospital in Dublin by air ambulance.
