Opening statements are to begin today in the trial of a man accused of being behind the Boston Marathon bombings.
21 year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is facing 30 charges arising out of the attacks which killed three people and injured over 260 others in April 2013.

12 jurors and six alternates have been put on a panel to hear the case, which could result in Tsarnaev being sentenced to death if he's found guilty.
