West Clare Communities are to benefit from new all weather sports facilities following the announcement of leader funding worth 200,000 euro.

Environment Minister Phil Hogan has sanctioned the Clare Local Development Company to approve the funds for Kildysart Community Focus to go towards the development of an Astro Pitch facility in the village.
The project also includes the provision of flood-lighting and fencing.
