A prominant Clare charity has received a boost, after it was chosen as Aer Lingus' Charity of the year.
Shannon-based cabin crew have been raising money for the organisation recently, while the next fortnight will see passengers on the airline's European flights asked to follow suit.

Several members of staff at Aerlingus in Shannon are involved personnally with Clare Crusaders and the company says the decision to pick it as their chosen charity for 2014 was an easy one.
