One Irish author has made it onto the long list for the prestigious Booker Prize for fiction.

Anne Enright, who won the prize in 2007, is honoured for her most recent work, The Green Road.
It is set in Co. Clare, and is described as a story of fracture and family, selfishness and compassion.
