Book of Condolence opens at Ennis Garda Station for slain Detective Garda

The Mayor of Kilkee says community members have been left horrified and repulsed by the brutal murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.

His wife – Caroline Deloughery- also a garda- is a native of the West Clare Town where many of her family members reside including her parents.

Mayor of Kilkee, Clr Claire Haugh says locals are shocked and have extended their deepest sympathies to the Deloughery family

Members of Clare Gardaí have also expressed shock and sadness at the death of one of their colleagues.

They have also extended sympathies to Caroline Deloughery’s brother Derek who is based in Henry Street in Limerick – while is wife is stationed in Ennis.

And a book of condolence has opened at Ennis Garda Station for anyone who wishes to offer their thoughts and prayers to Detective Garda Donohoe’s family.
