Body Found In Search For Missing Ennis Teenager

The search for a missing Ennis teenager has been stood down following the discovery of a body in a wooded area.

19-year-old Jack Dinan had been missing from his home on Considine Road for six days.

The body was discovered in the Beech Park area, around 500 metres out the Kilmaley Road at around 3.30pm this afternoon by a local dog walker.

A rifle was recovered at the scene.

The body has been removed and a post mortem is due to take place tomorrow.

The teenager’s family has been informed and Gardaí are not treating his death as suspicious.
