Rescue services have recovered the body of a man missing of the coast of Cork

John O’Leary – who’s in his 60s – was on a small boat late yesterday evening, with his 18 year old son Christopher, when it capsized near Cod Head.
It’s understood the father and son clung to the side of the upturned vessel for four hours, before Christopher swam ashore at Cod Head to raise the alarm.
Mr. O’Leary’s body was then later spotted by the Shannon Coastguard Helicopter and recovered from the water at around twenty five past one this morning.
