Police in London believe a body found in the city last night is that of a missing Irish student.

18-year-old Patrick Halpin from Loughrea disappeared while out with friends in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Metropolitan Police found a body off Leicester Square at around ten to eight last night – police say they believe it is that of the young Galway man. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Before the body was found, Patrick's family had been mistakenly told that he'd been found safe and well.
