Blow For Fianna Fáil With Retirement Of North Clare Councillor

Fianna Fáil has been dealt a blow in North Clare with the announcement of the retirement of long-time councillor Richard Nagle.

The Ennistymon representative has decided to step down from politics after 20 years serving on the local authority here.

His decision follows the retirement of his party colleague, Spanish Point councillor Michael Hillery, meaning Fianna Fáil will be left with no representative in that catchment area ahead of May’s local elections.
