Tony Blair says he takes full responsibility for any mistakes made over the Iraq War.

Following a seven year inquiry the Chilcot report has been published today – saying the UK invaded Iraq before peaceful options had 'been exhausted'.
It also says the British government didn't realise how big a task it would be to stabilise the country after toppling Saddam Hussein.
Mr Blair – the then Prime Minister – said he knew it was not a popular decision – but he did it because he thought the human cost of leaving Saddam in power would be greater in the long term
