‘Bittersweet’ Emotions As Ennis Mental Health Ceases Operations

The former Chair of the Ennis Mental Health Association says she has ‘bittersweet’ emotions as the organisation closes its doors.

The registered charity has ceased operations after more than three decades, with all of their remaining funds dispersed across other like-minded local groups.

In a statement on social media, the group has outlined its gratitude for the support it’s received from the people of Ennis since its inception, and says it’s proud of the work it carried out while established.
