The Bishop of Killaloe says the protection of tiny babies is under deep threat in Ireland.
The remarks from Bishop Fintan Monahan comes in his annual Christmas message for Clare FM listeners.

A referendum on the issue of abortion is expected to be held in 2018.
The Bishop also spoke of other issues, including what he called the ‘epidemic’ of homelessness in Ireland and in Clare as he extended his Christmas blessing:
