The Bishop of Killaloe has accepted that there is “an awful lot of sense” in the government’s decisions to not permit in-person Easter Masses.
Parishioners are still not permitted to be present in church for services under the current restrictions.

There have been growing calls for this measure to be lifted, with many of mass-goers having already received at least their first doses.
Bishop Fintan Monahan says while virtual celebrations are not ideal, he insists the Church will continue to comply with the law.
