The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmer's Association is to meet with representatives from Meat Industry Ireland today as part of negotiations arising from the Beef Roundtable discussions.

It comes as a 48 hour protest by farmers over meat prices at factories across the country continues this morning.
The Meat Industry has condemned the protest action, saying significant progress had been made during the discussions last week.
