A meeting of the Beef forum – including farmers and meat processors – will get underway later in an effort to end the dispute over beef prices.

Farmers held a 48-hour demonstration at 14 meat processing plants around the country, which concluded yesterday afternoon.
Earlier this week, the Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney said he's confident that solutions and compromises acceptable to both farmers and meat factories will be achieved.
