Bathing Warnings Lifted In Five Clare Beaches

Bathing and water activity warnings have been lifted at Lahinch beach.

In accordance with An Taisce’s Blue Flag programme, the Blue Flag will be reinstated.

In addition, the prior warning notices issued last Friday to White Strand, Miltown Malbay – Spanish Point – Kilkee – White Strand, Doonbeg – Cappagh Pier, Kilrush have today been lifted.

The notices were put in place due to the possibility of elevated levels of bacteria at landmark pier and beach attractions after heavy periods of rain.
