The public are being warned that bathing restrictions have been put in place in Kilkee this afternoon
They've has been introduced following the failure of a storm surge vessel at the local Irish Water pump station, and follow advice from the HSE.
The local authority says the restriction will remain in place until further notice, and it's keeping the situation under close review.
