The newly crowned Miss Ireland has spoken of her pride in representing the country on the world stage.
27-year-old Doctor Ivanna McMahon from Barefield was crowned Miss Ireland at a Diamond Jubilee Ceremoney in Castlebar over the weekend.

She will now go on to represent the country at the Miss World competition, which is due to take place in December, with full details of the location yet to be unveiled.
Ivanna has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that she’s looking forward to the year ahead.
