Men in Clare have been challenged to speak out against domestic violence, as part of a new campaign.

The local leg of the MAN UP campaign is being launched by at the De Valera Public Library in Ennis this evening (6pm), to coincide with the 16 Days of Action Against Violence which begins tomorrow.
Clare Haven Services, which supports victims of domestic abuse, offered supports to over 500 women and children here last year.
However, Services Manager Denise Dunne feels men can play a key role in reducing this number.
