The people of Clare will take to the highways and byways of the county today for two large runs and walks.

Up to 650 walkers are expected in Fanore for the annual Burren Walk for the Alzheimer's Society.
It starts and finishes at O’Donoghue’s Pub Fanore, with registration from 11am to 1pm.
Meanwhile the eleventh annual ‘Patricia Corbett Memorial Walk/Run’ will be held in Labasheeda.
The course is six miles/10km around Labasheeda Peninsula and proceeds will go towards the Clare Suicide Bereavement Support.
