Clare was the warmest county in Ireland last month.

Met Eireann says the mean temperature of 17.1 degrees, recorded at Shannon Airport in July, was the highest of any of it's weather stations in Ireland.
This is almost 1 degree warmer than normal for this time of the year, while July was also dryer than normal with only half of the anticipated amount of rainfall here.
