A Ballyvaughan student has helped to design a new trophy that will be awarded to music artists who hit number one in the charts.
The Irish Recorded Music Association worked in partnership with the National College of Art and Design to create the prize, which will be given to those who score a number one single or album in the IRMA Official Chart.

Katie O Brien from Ballyvaughan was chosen along with her Cavan partner was chosen as the successful designer of the award.
She says while the work was challenging, the recognition now makes it worthwhile.
