A Clare community has launched an initiative to welcome newcomers into the area.

The Failte Isteach programme aims to bring together older people in the Ballyvaughan area to offer friendship and English-language tuition to migrants who have moved to the area.
It's to mark the 10th anniversary of the rollout of Change-X, an initiative aimed at bringing about positive social change which was adopted by communities around the Burren two years ago.
Jenny Morten, Co-ordinator of Change-X Burren says they're very pleased with the response so far.
