The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says HSE plans to put additional beds into Ennis General, in a bid to ease overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick, are unsafe.

Nurses who are members of INMO and SIPTU are to be balloted for industrial action in the New Year in light of the decision.
Management insist they're acting in the best interest of patients.
