Bad Weather Hampering Efforts To Maintain Temporary Road Surface At Ennis Junction

Clare County Council has said that the recent inclement weather conditions have made it extremely difficult to maintain the temporary road surface at a busy junction in Ennis.

There was strong criticism on social media over the weekend, after a deep pothole emerged at the junction of Carmody street and the Kilrush Road.

Works are under way there to improve traffic management and will result in changes to traffic flow and additional safety measures for pedestrians.
