A beloved Clare pet is hoping to follow in the hoofprints of his younger brother in a prestigious but unique beauty pageant.
Baaaarney McKenna from Killimer has been chosen to represent the Banner in this year’s ‘Nose of Tralee’ competition, which his brother Baaaanjo competed in in 2025.

Baaarney, a pygmy goat is a rarity in the competition, where most entrants are cats and dogs, and the winner will be announced after online voting closes on August 17th.
