INTO Awaiting Result Of Nurses Talks Before Deciding Next Move

The President of the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation says they’re studying the outcome of the Labour Court’s recommendation’s aimed at ending the nurses strike.

Some nurses could get pay rises of between 2.5 and 7 per cent if members vote in favour of the terms, which resulted in the cancellation of three days of strike action.

The INTO and other public service unions are awaiting the result of the nurses ballot before deciding on their next move.
