Sinn Fein Accuses Clare Representatives Of ‘Mischief Making’ Around Shannon Airport Comments

Sinn Fein is accusing a number of Clare’s Oireachtas representatives of ‘mischief making’ in relation to comments made about transferring Shannon Airport workers to Dublin.

The party had mooted temporarily sending employees to the capital in what they say would be a ‘quid pro quo’ arrangement to ease staffing issues there.

It’s understood the DAA approached Shannon Group CEO Mary Considine about the possibility, but Shannon did not have the staff numbers required to assist with the request.
