Shannon “Will Require More State Aid” – Varadkar

The Tanaiste says Shannon airport will require more State funding.

Last week, when he was still Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar’s government announced just over €6 million in direct financial supports for the Airport.

The money will be used to support the installation of new baggage screening facilities, and in welcoming the announcement, a spokesperson pointed out that it would not generate any additional commercial returns.
