Shannon Re-Iterates Concern About State Supports For Regional Airports

Bosses at Shannon Airport are expressing fresh concern about the State’s financial support for regional airports.

Shannon Group, along with their counterparts at the DAA, which operates Dublin and Cork Airports, have claimed that the government’s support of Ireland’s smaller airports needs to be reduced.

The Irish Independent reports that, in their submissions to a new funding programme, Shannon Group argue the supports are ineffective and do not represent value for the taxpayer.
