Shannon Airport Group CEO Says Further Public Transport Access Needed At Facility

The CEO of the Shannon Airport Group is calling on the Government to provide further public transport access to the facility.

Representatives of all of the country’s airports outside of Dublin have been meeting with the Oireachtas Transport Committee as work continues on a new National Aviation Policy.

Provision of a rail spur to Shannon is referenced in the National Development Plan, while further bus connectivity has come on stream since the onset of the pandemic.
