Shannon Airport Expecting 40,000 Passengers Over Bank Holiday Weekend

Shannon Airport is expecting 40,000 passengers to pass through its doors this upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

The number is 87 percent of 2019 levels, signalling a quicker than expected bounce back for aviation in the Midwest.

It’s understood many of Ryanair’s summer routes in particular have had full planes, including new destinations of Malta, Corfu and Budapest.
