Ryanair Flights Between Shannon And UK Cancelled

Ryanair has cancelled flights between Shannon Airport and the UK for the rest of this month, even though UK visitors are able to fly here once more from this weekend.

UK passengers will be permitted to fly here if they provide proof of a negative COVID test, but Ryanair has cancelled flights between Irish airports and Britain, due to the Government’s travel restrictions and the consequent lack of demand.

In the days before Christmas, Ryanair announced that it would re-open its Shannon Airport base, which serves 14 routes, from April this year.
