A new route from Shannon Airport to Paris is being described as having huge potential for tourism and business.
The twice-weekly direct service to Paris Orly has been launched at the regional airport by Minister of State at the Department of Transport Hildegarde Naughton.
The service, operated by low-cost Spanish airline Vueling will run on Mondays and Fridays and brings to 27 the number of European and US services operating out of Shannon Airport.
