Ennis Hotelier Insists New Routes From Shannon Can Benefit Local Hospitality Businesses

The Chair of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum insists the local hospitality sector can benefit from new routes operating out of Shannon Airport.

Ryanair yesterday announced two additional services from Shannon will commence next Summer – those being twice weekly flights to Porto in Portugal and Naples in Italy.

Ennis hotelier Seán Lally, admits these destinations won’t necessarily encourage inbound tourism.

However, the Hotel Woodstock owner, says that passengers may stay in Clare the night before or after their flight.
