Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD says he will press the government to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in the opening up of air travel.
That’s despite the Transport Minister sounding a note of caution around the implementation of a Europe-wide traffic light system for international travel.
The system will be agreed by EU member states next week, but Minister Eamon Ryan has said that it will take “a period of time” to put enforcement measures, such as COVID testing, in place.
