The Chair of the the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum insists the Midwest has to ‘put its money where its mouth is’ and support Aer Lingus’ temporary resumption of its Shannon to Heathrow route.
The airline is to recommence the route’s operation for 10 weeks from the 13th of September while works on Cork Airport’s runway are ongoing.
The route will depart Shannon at 5pm daily for seven days a week until mid-November.
