The average cost of renting a home in Clare has risen by almost 10% in the space of a year.
The latest rental index from Daft.ie shows it now costs around €801 a month for the average home here.

The average rent in Ireland is now at an all time high, with a monthly price of €1,347.
This marks an annual rise of 9.8% – just ahead of the rate of increased in Clare, where prices have risen by 9.6% since the end of 2017.
Tenants are now facing an average monthly bill of €801 for their homes in the Banner County.
In the Midwest, Tipperary’s rent also averaged €801 while Limerick is unsurprisingly the most expensive place to live with city prices around the €1,170 mark.
