The average rent in Clare has now risen by nearly 25% from the depths of the economic crash.

Renters here are paying an average of 655 euro, according to a new report from Daft.ie
They've highlighted a 10.8% year-on-year growth in the figure, though growth has been stronger again for larger homes.
The report's author Ronan Lyons says the issues here are not unique to Clare.
