The average cost of a home in Clare has increased by €30,000 in the last 12 months.
According to the latest report from the Central Statistics Office, the median price paid for a property in the county in June was more than €330,000.
54 transactions were recorded in the county last month, with €333,500 recorded as the average price paid across the county.
This is a €33,000 increase from June 2025 when the median price paid in Clare was €300,750.
Ennis saw the lion’s share of property purchases with 34 taking place last month, with first time buyers accounting for 12 of these purchases.
€335,000 was the average cost of a home in the county town last month, up €10,000 from June 2025.
Just one of the seven transactions that took place in the Kilrush eircode area were by first time buyers, while the average price paid in the west of the county was €280,000.
Meanwhile in the Shannon Eircode area, €249,000 was the average price paid across the month of June with five purchases recorded last month.
