People across East Clare and beyond are being urged to don their outdoor gear for the Autumn Walking Festival this weekend.
Activities kicked off in Scarriff last night with the walks – which are all guided – centred around the East Clare Way, taking in scenery around Lough Derg, Lough Graney and Slieve Aughty.

The event is being organised by East Clare Tourism and Secretary Teresa Browne is hopeful that it will become an annual event for both local and tourists
