ASTI Want Re-Think On Fitness To Teach Hearings

The President of the Association of Secondary teachers is calling on the Government to revisit public fitness to practice hearings.

As of this summer formal complaints against teachers can be brought before the Teaching Council. 

The hearings are styled in a similar way to Medical Council's fitness to practice inquiries.
