Rose Hynes was speaking at the Airport this morning, as United Airlines launched it’s new service linking Clare’s international airport with Chicago.

Officials at Shannon have previously stated that they are seeking to build connections with a large hub airport on mainland Europe, while it has also been reported that Aer Lingus is close to restoring its year round service from the Mid West to North America.

While giving little away, Rose Hynes says talks are ongoing with a number of carriers.
