The Arts Council is congratulating six County Clare artists who have each been awarded a €3,000 grant to help them make new and original work during the COVID-19 crisis.
Competition was tough for the Arts Council COVID-19 Crisis Response Award, with over 1,000 artists competing for the €1 million fund.
Traditional artists Nuala Kennedy and Therese McInerney; musicians Ultan O’Brien and Susan O’Neill; Theatre maker Eva O’Connor; and visual artist Joe Ó Muircheartaigh were the successful applicants.
