Áras Contae an Chláir will be lit up tonight, in support of Samaritans.
Clare County Council’s headquarters on New Road in Ennis is one of more than 100 landmarks and buildings across the country which will illuminate in green for the Winter Solstice.

The initiative aims to show that Samaritans are there for callers during their darkest hours.
The charity’s helpline will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week over the festive period, including Christmas Day and can be contacted on freephone 116 123.
